- Experienced as Superintendent of four Texas public school districts and recently retired as superintendent in Flour Bluff ISD in Corpus Christi.
- Named regional Texas Superintendent of the Year in 2001 and member of the team of eight Outstanding School Board of the Year 2000. In 1996 the Texas Library Association named her the Outstanding Texas Administrator.
- Worked across the state in superintendent searches, strategic planning and board training.
- Worked with public, private and charter schools
- Presented numerous training sessions at state conventions on developing Board/Superintendent working relationships, developing procedures and a Handbook for Board/Superintendent Success; public relations for school districts; strategic planning; and collaboration between taxing units to benefit taxpayers.
- Certified by TEA as a provider of Board training credit.
